3D Printing Inventor Chuck Hull Receives His Cube

Published on June 8th, 2012 by in Uncategorized

Chuck Hull invented 3D printing back in 1983 with cutting edge technology Stereolithography and went on to found 3D Systems in 1986. None of us would be doing what we do today at Cubify without Chuck and we’re so happy he continues to bring us newer, better, and sometimes unimaginably small printers like the Cube. Naturally, Chuck had to be the first to officially receive a Cube! Sound off in the comments if you have questions or curiosities for Chuck on what he might be printing!

I have praised the person(s) who created the Cube to anyone and everyone without having a definitive name. Now, I have one. Chuck, you well deserved the first Cube and I thank you for imagining and creating the one I have now and the ones I will purchase in the future. Nice job!

I am also a fan – but – don’t get your hopes up too much Chuck Lee. I placed a cube order on 3 June (exactly 2 months ago) and my order still says “This item has not yet been shipped”. There seems to be a major backlog.

Can you please include his birthplace and early life becauseI am doing a school project about him?
