3DS Education: Advancing Digital Literacy in K-12 STEAM Education

As the pioneers of 3D printing and global leaders in the industry, education is one of 3D Systems’ top priorities. Our mission is to promote and advance digital literacy in K-12 STEAM education, by equipping and empowering students with 3D design, scanning and printing skills. The MAKE.DIGITAL initiative provides students with 21st century tools and technology to hone their innovation and creativity skills, learn real-world problem solving through project-based learning, and ultimately compete in the global economy. We partner with schools and organizations across all education levels and disciplines to provide a comprehensive and accessible 3D printing ecosystem that includes easy to use and affordable 3D printers for the classroom, design software, scan, sculpt and customized apps that emphasize and encourage cross-over between STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics.)
